Program Innovation

Our Program Innovation projects follow an iterative development process guided by the needs of stakeholders, the research literature, and hallmarks of good programming. Our process is driven by qualitative and quantitative methods as well as a diverse set of stakeholders to ensure all voices are heard.

Early Math Support

In 2018, we partnered with the PNC Foundation to expand the focus of Early Learning Corps to include math. Now at scale, the improved Early Learning Corps is poised to boost the capacity of PreK classrooms so that young children across the nation can build the math skills they need.

K-3 Math Support

Research shows that math learning from Kindergarten to third grade plays a critical role in short- and long-term academic outcomes. In 2019, we partnered with the Cargill Foundation to begin development of new K-3 Math Corps interventions.

Total Learning Classroom

For some schools, tutoring programs are an insufficient solution to acute challenges driven by large numbers of students who need additional support. Total Learning Classroom (TLC) was developed to provide a right-sized support infrastructure that includes individual tutoring, whole-class literacy support, and school-wide integration.
